How does it work?
Biometrics in marketing is a technique for measuring human emotional responses to sensory stimuli. As a result, it is possible to assess a product or service and create such parameters which will trigger the desired image, sales and process effect planned in the marketing strategy.
We apply following biometric technologies in ASM Neuro Lab:
- measuring the point of gaze (where one is looking) – OCULOGRAPHY / EYE TRACKING (ET),
- recording the electrical activity of the brain – ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHY (EEG),
- measuring the change in sweat gland activity – GALVANIC SKIN RESPONSE (GSR),
- muscle tension measurement – ELECTROMYOGRAPHY (EMG),
- recording of facial expressions – FACE TRACKING / READING (FT).
Our technology and proprietary research methodology enable the application of the above methods both separately and jointly. Therefore, the data from various devices can be obtained at the same time and, consequently, more parameters are included in the interpretation of the results.
